What's Going on at the Nursery

Hard to believe that it is already September, where did the summer go? It has been a cool summer with just about the right amount of rain. We have had several nights during August and July that the temperatures dipped down to 48 degrees, pretty refreshing for the summer time. As we stroll through our cold frames and look around the nursery we are seeing signs of fall with some leaves changing colors and many plants are going or have gone dormant. Could be an early fall.
Our fall shipping season has begun; we are shipping our bareroot plants as well as many of our potted plants. Now is a great time to get the spring flowering varieties in the ground and let them get some root growth this fall and come spring they will be ready to flourish for you. Also some of these plants that we only have a limited supply, so by ordering these now you will not be disappointed when we are sold out come spring.

Browse our webpages and get your order in today, you can select the ship date that works best for you and we will reserve your plants for you.

Also this time of year we are busy potting plants getting ready for next spring shipping season.

We look forward to hearing from you soon, enjoy browsing our website.
