Our Specialty is Wildflowers, Ferns, Native

Trees and Shrubs
We are a family owned and operated company now in our 4th generation.
In fact, we are the oldest
licensed Nursery in North Carolina,
serving customers from across the U.S. and around

We grow many of the woodland favorites to the common roadside
wildflowers. Most plants can be purchased in the bareroot form or in pots. The
majority of our potted plants come in quart size pots or we offer some plants in
a 3" plug size. We also offer many different seed mixes for a more
economical way to plant a large area.
Just browse through our web pages to see what we have to offer
by using the links located on the left hand side of this page.

SHIPPING SEASON
We are shipping all of our potted plants now and this will continue right through fall. Browse through our website by using the links on the left side of this page to see what we have to offer. Brisk Spring sales and early shipping due to the warm winter and spring has us running low of a few items, but we are working on a second crop for most of these and shuld have them ready by late spring or early summer. See the chart by each plant to see when they will be ready.
Also this time of year we are sowing seeds in our greenhouse for next years crops, and keeping the weeds pulled in our cold frames this time of year is always a big job. They just seem to grow much faster than our plants.
Website
During the winter months we have been working on our website by adding new pictures and updating some of the plant descriptions. We had hoped to have some more additions and a few other things done but due to the mild winter we have spent more time working outside than we did in the office. As the year goes by we will continue to work on our website so keep checking back.
New Catalog
We are very excited to announce we have completed our new 2012 catalog. It has taken all winter but we finally have it ready. This is the first new catalog we have done in several years. Our new catalog follows the design and content of our website. It has color pictures and plant descriptions as well as other helpful information. Below we have included links where you can download our catalog and price list which will allow to save it to your computer and browse through it without having to be online.
